
The Moldovan authorities will do everything possible to be ready to join the European Union in 2028 - Dorin Recean
Moldovan Prime Minister made this statement at a meeting in Brussels with European Parliament President Roberta Metsola. The parties discussed continued support for Moldova's accession to the European Union and the reforms being implemented by our country. According to the government press service, the head of the Cabinet expressed gratitude for the assistance provided by the European legislative forum and for its confidence in the ability of Moldovan citizens to build a future of peace and prosperity. Dorin Recean emphasized in this regard, in particular, the recent approval of the Growth Plan for Moldova, which includes €1.9 billion in assistance. “We will do everything possible to be ready for accession by 2028 and to ensure that Moldova not only receives support but is also represented in the European Parliament as a member of the EU,” Prime Minister stressed.
