More than 100 wines from 20 Moldovan producers were presented during a special event to promote Moldovan wines in Montreal

As reported by the National Office of Vine and Wine, Salon des Vins de la Moldavie, the first event of its kind organized in Canada, offered foreign wine industry professionals the opportunity to get acquainted with Moldovan wines, establish useful links with domestic producers, in order to take advantage of opportunities to expand the presence of Moldovan wine products on the Canadian market. The event gathered HoReCa specialists, sommeliers, oenologists, importers, members of the most important wine association in the province - Quebec Alcoholic Beverages Society, as well as media representatives. The tastings were accompanied by traditional Moldovan dishes, offering a complete picture of Moldova as a wine tourism destination. This event opens new horizons for Moldovan wines on the Canadian market, in order to explore its potential, to identify new opportunities for Moldovan wines abroad.
