
German innovative civil security companies are exploring investment opportunities in Moldova to enter the market.
As reported by the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers, in particular, Prime Minister Dorin Recean met in the government with a group of German businessmen, representatives of innovative civil security companies interested in exploring investment opportunities in the Moldovan market. The companies operate in the following sectors: cybersecurity, drone production, emergency management and protective infrastructure. Dorin Recean appreciated the intention of German companies to explore business opportunities and emphasized that the demand for civil security products in our country is growing. "In the context of climate change, natural disasters, as well as the regional security situation, cyber attacks, it is increasingly necessary to develop response capabilities," the head of government said. He emphasized the advantages of starting a business in Moldova, the very good conditions for doing business in the Moldovan IT Park, the talent and innovation of Moldovan specialists. "We need long-term investments, projects and cooperation through which we can transfer innovations and increase productivity," the prime minister said. In turn, representatives of German companies emphasized that the civil security sector is only one of their areas of interest, along with information technology, the domestic market, energy and others. During the current visit, businessmen are expected to learn about the advantages of investing in Moldova and establish partnerships, including through participation in the Moldova Digital Summit 2025.
