In Moldova, 200 million lei will be allocated from the "Budget + PLUS" to support entrepreneurs and develop industrial infrastructure

This was reported by the Ministry of Economic Development and Infrastructure, noting that this money will be provided through the Organization for Entrepreneurship Development (ODA). The funds will come from the package of 1.9 billion euros provided to Moldova by the European Union to reduce the economic gap and accelerate the process of accession to the EU. According to the department, 85 million lei out of the mentioned 200 million lei are intended to replenish the Credit Guarantee Fund, which will facilitate access to financing for small and medium-sized enterprises. Another 100 million lei will be allocated for ODA grant programs: Program for supporting the development of small and medium entrepreneurship in the field of tourism; Program for reengineering and improving the energy efficiency of small and medium enterprises; START program for youth; Program for supporting women's entrepreneurship; Program for attracting remittances to the economy PARE 1+2. Another 15 million lei will be allocated for the creation of Multifunctional Industrial Platforms to attract investments in high-value-added sectors. Minister of Economic Development and Digitalization Doina Nistor said that this is the essence of the Growth Plan: to bring the standard of living, infrastructure and opportunities in Moldova closer to the EU level. “These 200 million lei will go directly to the economy - to more modern factories, more competitive local businesses and better-paid jobs,” she said. The Growth Plan, first announced by European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen during her visit to Chisinau on 10 October 2024, aims to accelerate the reforms and investments needed to bring Moldova closer to EU accession. // 23.05.2025 — InfoMarket.
