
The European Investment Bank is ready to support the implementation of new projects in Moldova
This was discussed during a meeting between Finance Minister Victoria Belous and EIB Vice-President Teresa Czerwińska as part of their participation in the international conference “Growth and Resilience in Central, Eastern and South-Eastern Europe in a More Fragmented World.” According to the Ministry of Finance, on the sidelines of the conference, Victoria Belous met with Teresa Czerwińska to discuss strengthening cooperation between Moldova and the EIB. The dialogue focused on the implementation of current projects, identifying new areas for investment, and expanding EIB support. Victoria Belous expressed her gratitude for the EIB's assistance and stressed the importance of accelerating the implementation of investment projects in the context of promoting the European integration process and the need to enhance the country's economic sustainability. The conference was organized by the International Monetary Fund and the National Bank of Croatia on May 29–30 in Dubrovnik, bringing together political leaders, economists, university professors, and officials from international organizations.
