Romania will allocate Moldova the first tranche of the previously approved grant aid totaling 100 million euros - Marcel Ciolacu.

Romanian Prime Minister announced this on Friday during a meeting of the Romanian government, noting that today the Romanian Cabinet will unblock the allocation of these funds to Moldova. According to him, the money will be used to deliver school minibuses to Moldova and to invest in drinking water supply to some Moldovan settlements. As reported earlier, Romania will disburse Moldova the first tranche of a grant of 25 million euros out of a total of 100 million euros in non-reimbursable financial assistance, which will be used to implement different projects in strategic development fields with concrete effects for citizens. Under the second tranche, Romania is expected to allocate 28 million euros to Moldova.
