
In Moldova, the volume of investments in long-term assets in the first quarter of 2022 amounted to 4 billion 904.1 lei and increased by 12.6% compared to the same period in 2021.
As the National Bureau of Statistics told InfoMarket, in particular, investments in long-term intangible assets in January-March 2022 amounted to 158.3 million lei and increased by 10.8% compared to the same period of the previous year. At the same time, investments in long-term tangible assets increased by 12.7% - up to 4 billion 745.8 million lei (96.8% of the total). According to the NBS, herewith, in the first quarter of 2022, investments in machinery and equipment amounted to 1 billion 589.8 million lei (+2.7% compared to the same period in 2021). Investments in the construction of residential buildings in January-March 2021 amounted to 787.5 million lei (+11.1%), in non-residential buildings (buildings and structures) - 653.4 million lei (+18.7%), in engineering facilities - 864.3 million lei (+51.2%), vehicles - 585 million lei (-5.1%), other tangible assets - 265.8 million lei (+38.7%).
