
Moldova will receive from Poland a concessional loan of 20 million euros for a period of 20 years at 0.01% per annum.
This is provided for by a corresponding loan agreement between the governments of the two countries, which was ratified on Thursday by the Moldovan parliament. The agreement was signed on April 8 in Warsaw. As Finance Minister Dumitru Budianschi said earlier, according to this document, Poland will provide Moldova with a preferential loan of 20 million euros for a period of 20 years, including 240 months (20 years) of repayment holidays. The loan will be returned in one tranche. The interest rate will be 0.01% per annum. The Polish concessional loan will be allocated to Moldova in one tranche within a period of up to 3 months from the date the loan agreement comes into force.
