The National Office of Vine and Wine (ONVV) announced this, noting that this is provided for by the relevant amendments to the Waste Management Act adopted by parliament. The law has been supplemented with new provisions regulating the voluntary participation of wine producers in this system. According to the ONVV, this decision will ensure flexibility in the management of wine packaging, allowing voluntary participation in the system depending on the capabilities and strategies of each winery, which will bring significant benefits to the sector. "These amendments are in line with European best practices and will help maintain the competitiveness of Moldovan wine on the domestic and international markets.
