
Moldova and Romania will join forces to manage flood risks and protect water resources
As reported by the Ministry of Environment of Moldova, this was discussed during a meeting held by the State Secretary of the Ministry, Gheorghe Hajder, together with specialists from the Directorate of Integrated Water Resources Management Policies, with representatives of the Ministry of Environment, Water and Forests of Romania and the Department of Emergency Situations from the National Administration Apele Române. During the meeting, the procedures and practices for strengthening the capacity to respond to bad weather and floods to identify risks, analyze and assess them, and improve the safety of communities in the face of natural disasters were discussed.
