This was discussed at a meeting that Finance Minister Victoria Belous, together with representatives of the State Tax Service and the Customs Service, held with representatives of the National Association of Fish Farmers of Moldova. According to the Finance Ministry, the discussions focused on the problems of the fish sector and the main difficulties faced by local fish farmers, as reported by the association's representatives. The topics discussed included issues related to fish imports, the competitiveness of local producers, economic risks for fish farmers and difficulties caused by legislation.
