Moldova to set up an Agency for Digitalization in Justice and Judicial Administration

At a meeting on Wednesday, the government approved the creation of a new agency that will contribute to improving the quality of public services in the justice sector: through the modernization, development and application of information technologies and management of information systems in the justice field, as well as ensuring the organizational activity of judicial instances. The new institution will be created by merging the Agency for the management of judicial instances and the Agency for Legal Information Resources. The new institution will automate court procedures, develop case management, develop electronic platforms for online court sessions, analyze data, including using artificial intelligence, provide quality information services, etc. The new agency will employ 63 people. The annual personnel costs of the new agency will amount to more than 14.1 million lei. // 06.11.2024 – InfoMarket
