The intergovernmental agreement on the conversion of driver's licenses signed by Moldova and Israel entered into force on October 27
This was announced by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Moldova, noting that the governments of Moldova and Israel have completed the internal procedures necessary for the implementation of the Agreement on the procedure for the conversion of driver's licenses, signed in Jerusalem on March 20, 2024, and it entered into force on October 27. Thus, Moldovan citizens residing in Israel can exchange their Moldovan driver's licenses of categories A, A1, A2 and B without passing theoretical or practical exams. The changed driver's license will be returned to the issuing authority. Based on the agreement, the authenticity of the documents is verified directly between the competent authorities of Moldova and Israel, by contacting the issuing authority. Thus, administrative procedures are simplified, costs and execution times are reduced. // 28.10.2024 — InfoMarket
