Moldovan civil servants will participate in 2 EU programs, NEPT and SNE, to improve their professional training and modernize public administration

This is stipulated by the relevant agreement, which Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration Cristina Gherasimov signed in Brussels with the European Commissioner for Budget and Administration Johannes Hahn. The agreement will allow experts from Moldovan state institutions to participate in the programs NEPT - National Experts in Professional Training, as well as SNE - Seconded National Experts. “Moldova is taking another important step to modernize public administration. NEPT and SNE programs will help us to build efficient institutions and civil servants will be better prepared to contribute to our country's European agenda,” said Cristina Gherasimov. According to the agreement, Moldovan civil servants will be seconded 2 times a year for a period of 3 to 5 months. They will have the opportunity to learn first-hand the working methods and policies of the European Commission, as well as to apply their professional knowledge and experience in practice. Moldova is the first among the countries negotiating for EU accession to benefit from these EU programs. // 18.10.2024 - InfoMarket.
