Government has approved a new Regulation on the issuance of urban planning certificates and permits for the construction of public facilities

According to the government decree, the new document will be applied from January 30, 2025. It will provide a clear, efficient and transparent procedure for the approval of infrastructure projects. One of the advantages of the regulatory act is facilitating interaction between government agencies and beneficiaries, reducing waiting time and bureaucracy through the use of an Automated Information System for the management and issuance of permits. It is planned to allocate 250 thousand lei for the creation of such an information system. At the same time, free access to all issued urban planning certificates and permits will be provided, which will be published on official websites. The urban planning certificate and permit for the construction or dismantling of public facilities will be issued free of charge by the Bureau of Spatial Planning and Urban Development.
