Moldovan authorities support key economic sectors through EIB-backed investments - Dorin Recean.

Moldovan Prime Minister said this during a meeting with the president of the European Investment Bank, Nadia Calviño. He spoke about the projects that support Moldova's accession to the European Union, including those that help mitigate the economic and social consequences of Russia's aggression against Ukraine. Through the investments made with the EIB's support, the Moldovan authorities support the key sectors of the national economy: transport, road infrastructure, energy, entrepreneurship and healthcare. In a dialogue with the president of the European Committee of the Regions, Vasco Alves Cordeiro, Dorin Recean stressed the need to continue the decentralization reforms, to improve the business climate, including at the local level. Prime Minister said that this aspect has become even more important in the process of European integration, in order to ensure the understanding and promotion of the benefits of the EU accession for the local communities. // 12.06.2024 - InfoMarket.
