Foreign investors now have even more reasons to invest in Moldova - Dorin Recean.

Moldovan Prime Minister said this while speaking at the 2nd Economic Forum "Investments, Innovation, European Integration" taking place in Chisinau. The event is attended by representatives of about 300 companies from Moldova, Romania, Poland and Italy. In his speech, Dorin Recean spoke about Moldova's achievements over the last year, the process of improving the investment climate and creating better conditions for business people. Prime Minister said that there are a series of reasons why foreign investors should come to Moldova. Among them, he mentioned the access to more markets, especially the European one, the de-bureaucratization of the economy, a stronger financial and banking sector and access to the capital markets. Also, our country has a secure energy sector, and the authorities emphasize the continuous development of the infrastructure needed for the business environment and the exploitation of opportunities in the electricity sector. "Moldova has the talent and ability to innovate. We need long-term capital and people to come in and take advantage of the opportunities our country offers. With the start of EU accession negotiations, we become even more attractive for investors, whom we are waiting for to build a European country together," Dorin Recean said. The Economic Forum in Chisinau takes place on February 22-23. According to the agenda, the participants will discuss on Thursday the development of partnership between the business environment in the current economic context and the role of higher education in stimulating innovation and technological development.
