A contest for the post of the head of the Court of Accounts has been announced in Moldova.

The press service of the parliament reported this, noting that the Public Finances Control Commission approved the decision to launch a public contest for the selection of a candidate for the post of chairman of the Court of Accounts of Moldova, and interested persons can submit documents for participation in the contest until February 9, 2024. The candidates should have education in economic, financial or legal fields and at least 10 years of work experience in these fields, including 5 years of managerial experience. According to the contest regulations, candidates must be citizens of Moldova, speak the state language, have no criminal record, and have no bans on holding public office. To participate in the contest, the candidates should submit a motivation letter, in which they will explain their vision of the activity of the Court of Accounts. The public contest to select a candidate for the position of the Chairman of the the Court of Accounts will include a review of candidates' CVs and an interview. According to the legislation, the Court of Accounts consists of 7 members and is headed by a chairman.
