Moldovan Parliament approved its Legislative Program for 2024.
It was approved at the last plenary meeting of the fall session and contains legislative priorities for the next year. The legislative program for 2024 includes a list of draft acts planned to be examined and adopted by the government, documents worked out in order to harmonize the national legislation with the EU legislation, as well as draft laws on the ratification of international treaties, draft normative acts for the implementation of international treaties and decisions of the Constitutional Courts, reports of the public authorities to be heard in the parliament. The parliament will examine, as a priority, the drafted and submitted legislative initiatives on the process of harmonization of the Moldovan legislation with the EU legislation. At the same time, the draft normative acts submitted as a legislative initiative, after the adoption of the Parliament's Legislative Program for 2024, will be examined at the proposal of the Standing Bureau, without amending the Legislative Program. The Standing Committees of the Parliament will have the task to control the submission of draft normative acts to the Parliament within the established deadlines and to make efforts to implement the actions foreseen in the Legislative Program. // 29.12.2023 - InfoMarket
