In 2023, Parliament will conduct an ex-post assessment of 35 laws.
The corresponding plan for the post factum assessment of normative acts for the current year was approved by the Permanent Bureau of the Parliament. These will be dealt with by specialized parliamentary commissions, as well as the main legal department of the parliamentary secretariat. Among the laws that will be tested are: the Law on Social Assistance, the Law on Organic Agricultural Production, the Law on Data Exchange and Compatibility, the Law on Amnesty in connection with the 30th anniversary of Moldova's independence, etc. The factual assessment of the implementation of regulations is one of the tools to ensure parliamentary oversight, which allows the parliament to analyze the effectiveness of the legislative process. Today, two assessment methods are practiced: legal - it checks whether all the necessary regulations have been approved or there are obstacles to the application of the law, and impact analysis - it analyzes the effectiveness of the legislative process.// 10.01.2023 — InfoMarket.
