
Moldovan citizens will be able to receive identity documents through the government's MDelivery service.
The government plans to make necessary amendments to the Regulation on issuance of identity documents and registration of citizens of Moldova to regulate procedures of delivery of this category of documents to citizens. At the request of the applicant, the identity documents can be delivered through MDelivery under the conditions established by the government. At the same time, all documents related to document delivery will be stored by the provider of postal services. Delivery of electronic identity documents, as well as their delivery to a representative of a natural person, including through MDelivery, is not possible. It is worth mentioning that currently the documents can be delivered upon request of the applicant by registered mail with acknowledgement of receipt at the place of residence, permanent or temporary location - via Posta Moldovei. Also, in Chisinau, Balti and Comrat municipalities, as well as in their suburbs, delivery is also possible through the courier service of the Public Services Agency. This year, the government approved the concept of governmental delivery service and the regulation of its operation, and, accordingly, a regulatory framework was created to organize delivery through MDelivery. // 07.06.2022 - InfoMarket
