The support package for Moldova, to be discussed April 5 in Berlin, includes grants and preferential loans for development projects in the country.
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration (MFAEI) Nicu Popescu announced this, noting that along with Prime Minister Natalia Gavrilita other colleagues from the government are leaving today for Berlin as well to take part tomorrow in a conference in support of Moldova, initiated by Germany, France and Romania and fully supported by the European Union, the United States, Canada, Japan, European and international financial institutions. The MFAEI head said the creation of this support platform is a clear example of the international community's solidarity for mobilizing as much support as possible for Moldova. "At this meeting of our external partners, we will come up with practical ways to support Moldova, both in our European course and in our needs for socio-economic and humanitarian stability. The support package we will discuss in Berlin includes financial resources, grants and soft loans that will be directed to development projects in our country in all priority areas," Nicu Popescu said. // 04.04.2022 - InfoMarket
