Moldova: the five most requested extracts from the state registers will be available online and free of charge in a digital format with a mobile/electronic signature.

This is provided for by relevant legislative amendments adopted by the Parliament in the second reading in order to abolish a number of paper extracts and ensure free access of citizens to these documents in a digital format. In particular, the amendments to the Law on identity documents of the national passport system, the Tax Code and a number of other laws will allow five types of extracts in electronic form: the certificate of the absence or presence of debts to the state budget; the extract from the register of real estate; the certificate of insurance record; the certificate of a criminal record; information from the State Register and constituent documents of legal bodies. According to the bill, these documents can be generated and downloaded in electronic format, signing them through the personal account (mCabinet), free of charge. The document also stipulates the possibility of provision of representative powers on the basis of electronic signature to receive state services such as issuance of identification documents or duplicates of civil status documents. The bill will take effect on January 1, 2023. // 01.04.2022 - InfoMarket
