
From June 1, new tariffs of the Agency of Public Services for services in the field of registration of vehicles, manufacturing of metal products came into force.
According to the press service of the Public Services Agency, a phased change in the List of public services and tariffs for them was approved by a government decision in December 2020. According to the schedule, tariffs for vehicle registration and driver qualifications have changed since the beginning of June. However, as noted in the Public Services Agency, some tariffs have increased, some have decreased, some have remained at the same level. For example, the tariff for the replacement / renewal of a driver's license has decreased - instead of 400 lei (for 30 calendar days) it is 340 lei (for 20 working days). The cost of processing and sending requests for confirmation of the validity of a driver's license issued by foreign authorities has been reduced from 400 to 130 lei, and the cost of verifying the authenticity of a driver's license not entered in the State Register of Drivers has also decreased (from 250 to 100 lei) in the process of replacing it with a driver's license of Moldova. The tariff for issuing a temporary driver's license for the period of issuing a permanent driver's license remained at 80 lei. At the same time, the tariffs for the following services have increased: issuance of a driver's license from June 1 costs 340 lei (20 working days) instead of 320 lei within 30 calendar days; issuance of a vehicle registration certificate 330 lei (instead of 320 lei); issue of registration plates for cars - 550 lei (instead of 480 lei); vehicle identification during initial registration in Moldova - 600 lei (instead of 400 lei); identification of a vehicle registered in Moldova - 280 lei (former tariff - 200 lei). The Public Services Agency notes that it envisages for the provision of free and preferential services in the field of qualification of drivers and registration of vehicles for certain categories of persons (persons with disabilities, war veterans, persons in public care, etc.). It is worth noting that from March 1 to June 1, 2021, the Public Services Agency has already changed the tariffs for information and electronic services, services for conducting examinations and documenting drivers, and delivery services.
