According to the National Bureau of Statistics, the share of supplies of domestic goods to Romania in the total volume of Moldovan exports decreased during the specified period from 32.84% to 31.41%. At the same time, the volume of imports from Romania for 3 months of 2024, compared to the same period of the previous year, decreased by 11% - to $323.9 million, and its share in total Moldovan imports decreased from 15.78% to 15.04%. As a result, the negative trade balance between Moldova and Romania in January-March 2024 amounted to $34.4 million, exceeding the figures for the same period last year by 2.9 times.
