The EU has launched a new instrument to support trade with the Eastern Partnership countries, including Moldova.
According to the "EU Eastern Neighborhood" portal, this service will help companies in the EU and the Eastern Partnership find new opportunities, partners and understand the rules of trade in different countries. On a new online platform - https://eap.tradehelpdesk.org - businesses can find recommendations from trade experts and business support organizations. European Trade Commissioner Valdis Dombrovskis said the service would help strengthen trade ties between the EU and the Eastern Partnership. “The Eastern Partnership Region is one of the ten leading trading partners of the EU, and the EU is undoubtedly the largest trading partner of the Eastern Partnership countries. The EU accounts for almost a third of all their trade,” he said. “This platform will help companies and support recovery, resilience and reforms in the Eastern Partnership region,” said Olivér Várhelyi, European Commissioner for Neighborhood and Enlargement. The Helpdesk was developed by the EU-funded project "EU4Business: Eastern Partnership Trade Helpdesk" in cooperation with the International Trade Center. // 17.12.2021 – InfoMarket
