
Moldova and Switzerland will expand cooperation in the agro-industrial sector to modernize the infrastructure of the agricultural sector and promote Moldovan exports
This was stated during a meeting that Agriculture and Food Minister Ludmila Catlabuga held with the director of the Swiss Cooperation Office in Moldova, Guido Beltrani. The Agriculture Ministry said that the main topics touched upon were the projects on the modernization of the agricultural sector and economic development. Guido Beltrani presented the results of a number of initiatives supported by Switzerland, speaking about the project “Opportunities through Technology and Innovation in Moldova” (OPTIM), the development of local clusters in tourism and agriculture, the project of sustainable and inclusive food markets, etc. Ludmila Catlabuga emphasized the importance of these projects in the adaptation of the agricultural sector to the new climatic and economic challenges, thanking the Swiss partners for their support.
