
The World Bank will support the efforts of the Moldovan agri-food sector to implement standards and requirements for the country's accession to the EU
This was discussed during a meeting held by the Director General of the National Food Safety Agency Radu Musteata and the World Bank Regional Director for Agriculture and Food in the Europe and Central Asia Region Holger Kray, who discussed the priorities and prospects for cooperation between the National Food Safety Agency and the World Bank. As noted in the Agency's report, during the dialogue, some aspects of cooperation between the agency and the World Bank were outlined, and the support mechanisms from the organization used by the National Food Safety Agency so far were considered. The interlocutors agreed on the priorities and future tasks of the Moldovan agri-food sector, speaking in favor of continuing the established commitments in order to support our country's efforts to implement standards and requirements for accession to the European Union.
