Moldova announces new grant competition for agricultural producers who have invested in agricultural machinery and equipment for soil conservation

This was reported by the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry and the Agency for Interventions and Payments in Agriculture (AIPA), noting that, in particular, the Moldova Competitive Agriculture Project (MAC-P) has announced the 6th call for applications under the Post-Investment Grants Program for Sustainable Land Management. Each eligible beneficiary can apply for a grant of up to $10,000, which will compensate up to 30% of the cost of the relevant investment. As in previous rounds of competitions, post-investment grants finance the acquisition of agricultural equipment and no-till and strip-till agricultural machinery, such as combines, seeders, choppers, sprinklers, irrigation equipment, irrigation systems, installation of hydraulic water intake structures, creation/restoration of windbreaks, melioration of degraded lands through afforestation, weeding between trees in orchards, etc. Dossiers can be submitted from November 4 to December 31 at the territorial offices of the Agency for Interventions and Payments in Agriculture.// 04.11.2024 — InfoMarket
