Moldovan agrarians received about 521 million lei in subsidies in the first 2 months of 2024, including about 269 million lei in February - AIPA.

As reported by the Agency for Intervention and Payments in Agriculture (AIPA), in particular, in February, from the National Fund for Agricultural and Rural Development there were allocated: post-investment subsidies - 96.83 million lei; advance subsidies for improving living and labor standards in rural areas - 2.3 million lei; subsidies for the implementation of Leader projects - 2.16 million lei; additional subsidies - 164.24 million lei; direct payments in the livestock sector - 3.14 million lei; subsidies for the development of start-up projects - 0.32 million lei. In 2024, according to the State Budget Law, the size of the National Fund for Agriculture and Rural Development will amount to 1.6 billion lei. As AIPA emphasized, every effort is made to consider as soon as possible all the applications for subsidies received earlier from the National Fund for Agriculture and Rural Development. // 01.03.2024 – InfoMarket
