According to the data of the Agency for Intervention and Payments in Agriculture (AIPA), 86% (934.6 million lei) of the funds were sent directly to farmers; 12% (138.6 million lei) - to public administration bodies; 2% (19.7 million lei ) - to the Vine and Wine Fund. The majority of farmers directed the received subsidies to the development of post-harvest and processing infrastructure - 200 million lei (18% of the total amount of subsidies). About 213 million lei were allocated for reimbursement of contributions on loans received. The state allocated 160 million lei for the purchase of agricultural machinery and equipment, including mini-till. About 10 per cent of the paid subsidies (100 million lei) were directed to the restoration of the livestock breeding sector. And 96 million lei were used for planting perennial plantations or cutting down plantations that are no longer in operation.
