Moldovan Agriculture Ministry’s leadership discussed with the agrarians the new Regulation on the measures and specific conditions of subsidizing investments.

The document provides for post-investment subsidy measures and phased investments and was developed to ensure the continuity of effective support processes for agricultural producers. The objectives of the provision are the following: modernization of the agri-food chain to bring it in line with EU requirements for food safety and quality; increase of competitiveness, diversification of production, improvement of the quality of the obtained products and improvement of the overall performance of agricultural facilities; development of post-harvest or processing infrastructure; increase of added value in agribusiness through the development of primary and final processing infrastructure The provision on measures and specific conditions for subsidizing investments from the National Fund for Agricultural and Rural Development was discussed during public consultations with representatives of specialized associations and industry bodies.
