Germany will assist Moldova in implementing innovative technologies in agriculture.

This was discussed at a meeting of the Minister of Agriculture and Food Industry Vladimir Bolea held with the German Ambassador to our country Margret Uebber. The sides discussed the current stage and prospects for the development of the Moldovan-German relations, including the exchange of experience in the use of innovative technologies in agriculture, the Agriculture Ministry said. Besides, the sides discussed the situation in agriculture, with a focus on the consequences of this year's drought, the conflict in the region and the energy crisis. The agriculture minister referred to the economic ties between the states, stressing that Germany is an important trade partner for Moldova and a valuable investor in the Moldovan economy. Vladimir Bolea emphasized the importance of the EU countries' support for Moldova's accession process. He reiterated Moldova's commitment to transform the agricultural sector into a climate-friendly one, based on innovations and transfer of new technologies.
