
The sheep and goat breeding industry of Moldova will be adapted to the current challenges and conditions in order to become profitable.
This statement was made by Minister of Agriculture and Food Industry Vladimir Bolea, during a discussion on the priorities of sheep and goat breeding development, within the Consultative Committee, with the participation of representatives of the branch, central and local authorities. The head of the Ministry of Agriculture said that in order to ensure the dynamic development of the industry in the coming years, the ministry policy will focus on adapting the industry to the current challenges and conditions. Vladimir Bolea noted that the sheep and goat breeding industry must become profitable, and one of the main components determining the success of the enterprise is the turnover figure. "Farmers should focus on economic efficiency and the amount of dairy and meat products obtained. Also, the activity of farms should be made more efficient, through the introduction of digital technology.
