Agricultural producers may apply for partial compensation of excise duty on diesel fuel.

According to the Agency for Intervention and Payments in Agriculture (AIPA), applications can be submitted throughout 2022, but no more than one application per semester, according to the schedule: first semester - by June 30; second - from July 1 to November 15. One of the obligatory conditions for receiving compensation is that the diesel fuel must be used for work in agriculture and must be purchased from April 29 of the current year in accordance with the approved regulations. Excise taxes on diesel fuel are compensated at the rate of 30% of the quota set for 2022 (894 lei per ton). The application must be bound, stamped and numbered to prevent tearing off and/or replacing documents, and signed by the applicant on each page. // 06.05.2022 - InfoMarket
