According to the Agency for Interventions and Payments in Agriculture, funds were allocated from the National Fund for the Development of Agriculture and Rural Environment to pay: post-investment subsidies - 439 million lei; advance subsidies for the development of start-up projects - 12.3 million lei; advance subsidies for improving living and working conditions in rural areas - 26.6 million lei. The total budget of the fund for 2022 is 1.5 billion lei. It is noted that it will be supplemented with 250 million lei after the state budget is clarified. First, subsidies will be issued to farmers who invested their own funds last year, and then applications received this year will be considered and approved. In 2021, the majority of subsidies (77.8%) were received by small and medium-sized agricultural producers.
