AIPA has resumed the process of paying for subsidy applications received back in 2021.

According to the Agency for Intervention and Payments in Agriculture, the process has resumed since the entry into force of the Law on the state budget for 2022, which provides for 1.5 billion lei in the budget of the National Fund for Agricultural and Rural Development. The amount of funding for applications remaining from 2021 is not reported to AIPA, however, it is noted that in 2021 the Agency received a record number of applications for subsidies - 12,759, of which: 8,522 (66.8%) - applications for post-investment subsidies for 4,602 individual agricultural producers; 3,502 (27.4%) - compensation for natural disasters that jeopardized the agricultural harvest in 2020 (in terms of humanitarian aid - diesel fuel); 319 (2.5%) - applications for advance subsidies (for the development of start-up projects and the improvement of living and working conditions in rural areas); 416 (3.3%) - applications for direct payments for livestock.
