Advance subsidies for agricultural startup projects in Moldova will continue to be available in 2022, with 75 million lei allocated for this purpose.

This is stipulated by the government-approved relevant amendments to the Regulation on the conditions and procedure for granting advance subsidies for startup projects from the National Agricultural and Rural Development Fund. According to the amendments, young people, women entrepreneurs and immigrants coming back to the country will receive subsidies worth 75 million lei in 2022 for agricultural projects in rural areas. The money will be allocated from the National Agricultural and Rural Development Fund. At the same time, starting from 2022, the adopted amendments will provide the opportunity for as many applicants as possible to receive financial assistance from the state to develop their own business and create new jobs in the country. The total value of the investment project is not to exceed 1 million lei. The implementation period - 24 months. Financial support from the state budget will be provided in two parts and will amount to 65% of the cost of investment, the remaining 35% will be own contribution of the program participants. The regulation on the conditions and procedure for granting advance subsidies for start-up projects will be posted on the website of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry and the Agency for Intervention and Payments in Agriculture after the publication of the document in Monitorul Oficial (the Official Journal of Moldova). // 30.12.2021 - InfoMarket
