
ANSA provided an update on the requirements and conditions for obtaining permission to export products of animal origin to the EU.
This information was presented by the Director General of the National Agency for Food Safety (ANSA) Vladislav Cotici during Carnexpo Grill Moldova 2021. Carnexpo Grill Moldova 2021 was organized outside Chisinau at the invitation of one of the wine producers. The general director of ANSA Vladislav Cotici, who was present at the event, spoke about the importance of product quality assurance and consumer protection, and also provided updated information on the requirements and conditions for obtaining permission to export products of animal origin to the European Union. He noted that ANSA is the agency that monitors the compliance with the requirements of regulatory enactments in the field of production and processing, as well as the safety and quality of agri-food products. ANSA also acts as a guarantor for partner organizations in importing countries and, by issuing export certificates, confirms that all safety and quality conditions for exported products meet the requirements of the importing country. “We are still open to providing any information to support local producers and processors. I believe that we will be able to withstand the challenges if we maintain a constructive dialogue and good cooperation and if we are aware and responsible,” said Vladislav Cotici. The event was also attended by representatives of other government agencies: the Ministry of Agriculture, the Agency for Intervention and Payments in Agriculture, the Organization for the Development of the Sector of Small and Medium Enterprises (ODIMM), who provided useful information on the strategies of the Government of Moldova in the field of animal husbandry, the conditions for subsidizing the livestock industry, providing support for business development in Moldova. // 28.06.2021 - InfoMarket
