AIPA recalled that it is accepting applications for advance grants for start-up projects in the agro-industrial sector until June 18.

As noted in the message of the Agency for Interventions and Payments in Agriculture, in particular, within the framework of the VII stage, documents for receiving advance subsidies for start-up projects in the agro-industrial complex until June 18 can be submitted by agricultural producers who are starting to work in the agri-food sector for the first time. In particular, applications can be submitted by young people, women farmers and migrants who have returned to Moldova and intend to implement investment projects in the agricultural sector. Priority sectors for which advance subsidies will be allocated: investments in equipment and technological equipment of livestock farms; purchase and breeding of pedigree animals and preservation of their genetic fund; development of post-harvest and processing infrastructure; production of vegetables and fruits in greenhouses; creation, modernization and felling of perennial plantations, including vineyards and orchards. The maximum amount of assistance will be up to 65% of the project cost (maximum amount - 1 million lei). Advance subsidies will be paid in two installments. The first part - 75% of the grant amount - will be paid subject to confirmation of co-financing from the recipient in the amount of 35% of the eligible costs. The second tranche - 25% of the subsidy amount - is paid on the basis of an application for payment upon commissioning of the investment object and the provision of supporting documents, depending on the area in which the investment is made. More information is available on the AIPA website. // 27.05.2021 — InfoMarket.
