In particular, in the first quarter of 2020, they amounted to $45.8 million, in the second quarter of 2020 - $50.76 million, in the third quarter of 2020 - $53.39 million, and in the fourth quarter of 2020 - $60.9 million versus $42.11 million, $45.34 million, $50.64 million and $56.43 million in the same periods of the previous year. As noted by the National Bank of Moldova (NBM), in general, in 2020, relative to the previous year, the total volume of alcohol exports to the EU countries increased by 26.6% - from $64.69 million to $81.93 million, to the CIS countries - decreased by 15.2% - from $73.66 million to $62.43 million, and to states outside the European Union and the CIS increased by 18.4% - from $56.17 million to $66.49 million.
