AIPA reminds that agricultural producers affected by the 2020 drought can apply for financial assistance in the form of diesel fuel until April 6 inclusive.

AIPA reminds that agricultural producers affected by the 2020 drought can apply for financial assistance in the form of diesel fuel until April 6 inclusive.

According to the Agency for Intervention and Payments in Agriculture, the matter concerns agricultural producers of phytotechnical crops. Diesel fuel is provided by Romania in the form of humanitarian aid. The Ministry of Agriculture, Regional Development and Environment, through AIPA, will establish a list of potential beneficiaries and the volume of diesel fuel corresponding to the level of drought damage. As previously reported, assistance is provided in the event that the drought affected 60% or more of the harvest of phytotechnical crops in 2020. An application for the calculation and provision of assistance and copies of documents required for the provision of assistance are submitted by the applicant or his/her legal representative to the territorial AIPA office in the territory in which the applicant operates.
