Some Airbus A320 aircraft in Moldova will undergo preventive technical inspections – AAC
As announced by the Civil Aviation Authority of Moldova (AAC), this is due to the issuance of an Emergency Airworthiness Directive (EAD) by the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) in response to a notification from the manufacturer Airbus about the potential risk of damage to flight control systems due to active solar radiation. The measure is preventive in nature and applies internationally, temporarily affecting several airlines in Europe and other regions. In Moldova, some airlines use Airbus aircraft. The civil aviation authority specifies that all necessary measures have been taken to comply with EASA requirements without affecting the current flight schedule. Airlines will continue to operate in safe and reliable conditions, and passengers will not be affected by significant changes to flight schedules. According to the latest EASA data, of the approximately 6,000 aircraft affected, preventive checks have been completed 100% in Europe and 98% worldwide, demonstrating the rapid and coordinated response of the international aviation industry. // 01.12.2025 — InfoMarket
