National Wine Day will take place on October 4-5 in the Great National Assembly Square

This year, on Wine Day, which will be held for the 24th time, more than 100 winemakers will present their wine collections. Traditionally, the event will include the Grand Prix for outstanding achievements in the wine industry – the government's way of recognizing the outstanding quality of local wines and highlighting their contribution to the development of wine tourism. At the same time, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry will award the winners of the Golden Barrel competition. The event will also feature an artisan fair and a wine school with tastings and master classes. Guests will be provided with recreation and entertainment areas, and the entire celebration will be accompanied by a concert featuring folk ensembles and renowned artists such as Zdob și Zdub, Misha Miller, Cuibul, and others. Guests can purchase a "taster's passport" for 250 lei, which includes a tasting of 11 wines and a 20% discount on promotional "Wine of Moldova" products (eco-bags, T-shirts, glasses, etc.).
