Moldova won 21 medals at the prestigious sparkling wine competition Concours Mondial de Bruxelles held in Chisinau
As reported by the National Bureau of Vine and Wine, this result confirms the growth of the quality and international reputation of Moldovan wine, which is increasingly strengthening its position on par with the leading wine-producing regions of the world. Moldovan winemakers won 5 gold and 16 silver medals, which is a significant achievement compared to the previous edition, when only 8 awards were received. Director of the National Bureau of Vine and Wine Stefan Iamandi noted that 21 medals received by Moldovan wines confirm the international recognition of the quality of sparkling wines produced in Moldova. "These awards are the result of investments and work of Moldovan winemakers in recent years, and demonstrate that sparkling wines can compete on equal terms with the products of the world's leading wine-producing regions. This success strengthens the position of Moldovan Wine on the world map," he said. The competition in Chisinau was organized by Concours Mondial de Bruxelles with the support of the National Bureau of Vine and Wine, the institution responsible for the international promotion of the country's wine brand Vinul Moldovei.
