Thirteen projects funded by the Austrian government with a total budget of around €31.2 million are currently being implemented in Moldova - the Ministry of Finance

This was discussed during a meeting between Finance Minister Andrian Gavrilita and Austrian Ambassador to Moldova Stella Avallone. According to the Ministry of Finance, the discussions focused on strengthening Moldovan-Austrian relations and cooperation in strategic areas such as the economy, risk management, social security, and attracting investment. During the discussions, the Minister of Finance also spoke about the Ministry's priorities for the coming period, which include modernizing tax policy, improving the tax system, digitizing administrative processes, and improving the quality of public services, with an emphasis on the experience of taxpayers, citizens, and the business community. Stella Avallone confirmed Austria's interest in strengthening bilateral dialogue.
