The Ministry of Culture has announced a competition for project funding for 2026: 10 million lei has been allocated from the budget for this purpose

According to the ministry, of the total amount allocated for grant funding of projects by non-profit organizations, 8 million lei is earmarked for annual cultural projects and 2 million lei for multi-year projects. The maximum amount of funding for an annual project is 300,000 lei, and for a multi-year project – 900,000 lei. This year, the Ministry of Culture has identified five priorities that will be taken into account when evaluating applications: education through art, European integration and local development, cultural and linguistic diversity, national cultural heritage, and increasing social trust. The deadline for submitting projects is February 27.
