Two new deputy directors of the Moldovan Customs Service have been appointed and took office
This was announced by the Director of the Customs Service, Radu Vrabie, who noted that on December 1, Carolina Gargaun took up the position of Deputy Director of the Customs Service, Head of the Revenue and Customs Control Department, and Viorel Doaga took up the position of Deputy Director, Head of the Anti-Fraud and Compliance Department. Radu Vrabie emphasized that Carolina Gargaun had been his colleague for six years on two USAID programs, and during that time they had managed to jointly promote important steps to modernize the Customs Service. "I am glad that she has accepted this challenge, and I am convinced that she will be an excellent addition to Moldova's civil service. Viorel Doaga has extensive experience in the Customs Service, and I am confident that this will contribute significantly to strengthening the capacity of the Anti-Fraud and Compliance Department. Carolina Gargaun and Viorel Doaga were introduced to the Customs Service management team on Monday.
