In particular, representatives of the Moldovan Chamber of Commerce and Industry held a meeting with representatives of the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, at which they discussed prospects for developing bilateral cooperation and opportunities for implementing joint projects in the interests of the business communities of both countries. The discussions focused on identifying new ways to support companies from Moldova and Bulgaria, facilitating direct contacts between entrepreneurs, and harnessing the potential for trade and economic cooperation. Following the meeting, the parties agreed to explore the possibility of organizing joint events, including business forums, bilateral meetings, and initiatives to develop partnerships between Moldovan and Bulgarian companies. According to the National Bureau of Statistics, Moldovan exports to Bulgaria in January–May 2026 increased by 18.9% compared to the same period in 2025, reaching 31.7 million euros, while Bulgarian imports rose by 41.6% to 68.7 million euros.
