On March 1, a new methodology for calculating tariffs for passenger transport by road in regional and interregional traffic, approved by the government in the fall of 2025, came into force in Moldova. The new methodology introduces clear rules for calculating, approving, and verifying tariffs. They are set depending on the type of transport unit, distance traveled, passenger traffic, and other characteristics of each route.
